In November of 2008, the firm’s Boston office held a convention for companies and institutions in the field of medical instruments. The convention was organized by Adv. Shay Baranov, a partner at ZAG/S&W, in collaboration with the executives at international company Boston MedTech Advisors, who assist companies in the field of medical instruments. Among the issues covered: globalization of clinical trials, market penetration - insurance refunds as marketing strategies, licensing, joint development agreements, joint ventures and other types of partnerships, information research with a focus on patents, and new opportunities for the coming generation.
